Just an FYI: This is relatively a personal blog. Though I may throw in my passion for technology and education on occasion. If you are looking for something more work-related. You’ve come to the wrong place.

I’m a recovering librarian who still works in a library and is obsessed with technology, especially finding the best use for technology in education.

At 32, I’m embracing the crazy – or what I keep insisting to the doubters of the world – quirky. I know I’m a little off-center. I’d like to think it is a part of my charm. I’m on a never-ending battle with myself to become a more centered, calm person.

I love my city – though some people hate on St. Paul, I love it. Especially my ‘hood. I own an old house that gets the better of me on most days. I have a tree growing out of my garage.

I have two gray and white kitties (Gibson and Basil). Gibson seems to have developed severe asshat tendencies since the adoption of Basil in December 2009.  Basil had them to begin with, I assume that’s why he was abandoned. They like water – especially the bathtub. I will try my best not to write about them too much.

I used to smoke cigarettes regularly and miss the random people that I’d meet when I’d go outside for a smoke at bars. My lungs love me a lot more now.

I have very bad luck when it comes to dating. This usually makes a good story. **Ed note. I am now dating a most wonderful man, who, somehow, hasn’t noticed that I’m nuts. Or if he has, he likes it**

I hate Monkeys and Clowns. Those fuckers freak me the hell out.

I like Beer, Tequila and Bourbon. I think cheese is the best invention ever. I’ve never met a cheese (save for unintentionally moldy) that I didn’t like.

I will blog about food and booze – since those are two of my favorite things. There is a chance some of my silly behavior while consuming one or the other will be thrown in for good measure.

I write like I talk, but writing gives the opportunity for spell check and parentheses.
